The Ofra Hike Station trail starts in the Serra de Tramuntana, at the base of Puig Major and next to the Cúber reservoir. The route begins with a peaceful, flat section alongside the water, surrounded by nature. It then climbs through a scenic valley between mountains, offering increasingly stunning views. At the mountain pass, hikers are rewarded with a natural viewpoint overlooking the reservoir and surrounding peaks.
A Route To Fulfillment
The final, steep ascent to the summit of Puig de l’Ofre is challenging but rewarding, offering panoramic views of Mallorca and the Tramuntana range. At the top, the silence and beauty provide a moment of peace and connection with nature. The descent follows a different path back to the reservoir, ending the hike with a sense of fulfillment and tranquility.

Before Your Hike

Around 3 hours. The experience is flexible and can be adjusted depending on your time and preferences. Just speak with your guide.
What to Bring
To enjoy your hike comfortably, please bring:
- At least 1.5L of water per person
- A hat and sunscreen
- Swimwear (for coastal hikes)
- A small towel (if needed)
- Any personal medication you may require during the hike (including inhalers)
- Optional snacks (fruit, energy bars, etc.)
Please note that there are no shops or facilities along the trails.
What to Wear
For safety and comfort on the trail, please wear:
- Trail running shoes or hiking shoes with good grip (required)
- Socks (always required)
- Comfortable sportswear, ideally quick-drying
- A jacket or hoodie for sunset hikes, windy days, or cooler weather
For safety reasons, guests wearing flip-flops, sandals, open shoes or other unsuitable footwear will not be able to join the hike. Regular sports shoes are not sufficient unless they are trail running shoes. Socks are mandatory.
